    Matched independent brokers serving Ontario can review your request and respond when they have an available service for your needs. This is not an instant automated quote.

  3. 3. Compare and choose

    Review any quotes you receive, compare their coverage and conditions, and decide for yourself whether to proceed with a broker.

What should I have ready?

The five steps are Location, Vehicle Details, Driver Details, Contact & Quote, and Your Quotes. The last step confirms submission and helps you access quotes; it does not generate an instant price.

Required to complete the current form

  • Your Ontario location and postal code.
  • Each vehicle's make and model, plus its year when selecting from the vehicle list, and Comprehensive and Collision coverage selections.
  • Each driver's first and last name, date of birth, G1 date, and at least one G2 or G licence date. Complete any applicable policy cancellation, insurance gap, suspension, accident and ticket details.
  • Your contact name, email and phone number, and consent to share your information with matched providers.

Optional information in the form

  • Street address and vehicle trim are optional.
  • You can provide additional vehicle-use information, such as annual mileage, commuting distance where relevant and overnight parking, and select optional accident benefits.

What a broker may ask later

  • A broker may need follow-up answers or supporting information before confirming a quote or arranging coverage. The current form does not ask you to upload a driver's licence or other documents.

Is requesting a quote free, and do I have to buy?

Requesting and comparing quotes through Asquote is free, with no obligation to buy. This does not mean insurance coverage is free.

Where is this auto insurance request service available?

This page is for auto insurance requests in Ontario.

How many quotes will I receive, and how long will it take?

There is no guaranteed number of quotes or response time. Responses depend on matched brokers having an available service for your needs; quotes are not generated instantly by Asquote.

How do I view quotes after submitting?

If you are signed in, use View My Requests after submission to open your dashboard. If you submitted as a guest, use the email verification-code steps on the confirmation page, then Verify & View My Quotes. You can review any responses in My Quotes after signing in.

Does submitting a request start my insurance coverage?

No. Submitting a request is not an insurance policy and does not put coverage in force. Confirm with the broker or insurer that coverage has been arranged and when it takes effect.

What should I check when comparing quotes?

Compare the actual coverage, limits, deductibles, exclusions and conditions, not just the premium. Ask the broker to clarify what is included and confirm the final terms before deciding.
